About S.W.A.T

SWAT is a group of liked minded people whose aim is to raise funds for animal welfare, rescue and re-homing organisations. We are based in the Nouvelle Aquitaine region of south west France but are able to assist bona fide registered groups outside of the region. We work mainly with smaller groups who are funded by their own efforts, in most cases being too small to qualify for grants from the major funding bodies. We are sadly not a refuge and so cannot take animals which are at risk, however the beneficiaries of our fundraising efforts will be able to assist

Since its inception in 2015, SWAT have raised significant funds for animals from a variety of events including coffee morning with table top sales, large regional fund raising events, Summer and Christmas Fairs which are attended by local artisans. The current pandemic has led us to create two on-line quizzes each month, details are on our events page. We will issue changes to our programme when the current restrictions are at an end.
